As a new energy hardline off-road vehicle, Lookup U8 conquers hard-core off-road conditions, first of all, it is inseparable from the two top technologies of Yi Sifang and Yunyi-P intelligent hydraulic body control system. In order to ensure that every off-road condition that users may encounter has been tested and verified in advance, Lookup U8 has carried out vehicle performance road test since June 2022, which has lasted for more than 500 days, and the test engineer team has spread all over 28 provinces and autonomous regions across the country. Through the cumulative investment of more than 500 trial-production vehicles for vehicle-level road test and verification, Lookup U8 completed the terrain test covering 6 major topography and 13 subdivision types, and gradually improved the off-road reliability verification in the rich terrain road test. It is worth mentioning that Lookup U8 after completing the conventional Golmud plateau test, taking into account the hardline cross-country needs of users, in order to verify the extreme off-road reliability of the vehicle, went deep into Ali no man's land for plateau test verification. Lookup has specially developed a custom test road to increase the altitude of the plateau test from 2700 meters to 4500 meters, and the mileage of the plateau environment test is more than 7000 kilometers.

At the same time, Lookup pioneered the road simulation test technology of 24-channel active suspension in the world, which fully simulated off-road, urban and other road conditions to verify the durability and reliability of U8. In the road spectrum collection stage, in addition to collecting all kinds of road condition data in the test yard, but also increased the collection of sand, mud, snow and other off-road road conditions, and on this basis, the road spectrum load reproduction accuracy was improved from 95% to 99%. After three rounds of road simulation tests and continuous optimization, Lookup U8 achieves the goal of 1 million km equivalent user mileage and no structural damage to the vehicle. In addition, Lookup also carried out 4 rounds of enhanced bad road tests on U8, involving as many as 21 types of test conditions, which exceeded the general test level of the industry in terms of test rounds and types of work. Finally, after 4 rounds of road tests and 3 rounds of bench verification, the cumulative test of Lookup U8 exceeds 5 million km equivalent user mileage, fully verifying its durability and reliability.

High and low temperature, VOC, EMC depth testing, guarding users to use vehicles in multiple scenarios

For new energy off-road vehicles, in the off-road scenes such as climbing and brushing pans in the desert, the engines and motors are easy to overheat because of high temperature and heavy load for a long time, or in a low temperature environment, the performance, electronic system and intelligent network connection system of the vehicle may fail and degrade, which will affect the normal use of the vehicle. In order to verify the reliability of various functions and performances of Lookup U8 at various ambient temperatures, Lookup carried out an omni-directional high and low temperature environmental adaptability test.

In the in-warehouse test in the high temperature environment, Lookup U8 has accepted the ambient temperature test of up to 45 degrees Celsius, and the surface temperature of some parts has even exceeded 100C, and has been tested for a total of 80000 kilometers to ensure that its driving performance, cooling performance and air conditioning performance will not be degraded or invalidated in the high temperature environment. In the low temperature test of minus 40 degrees Celsius, Lookup U8 can still unlock and start normally after standing for more than 12 hours, the functions such as door, welcome pedal, suspension lift and Lookup LINK are still running normally, and the functions of defrosting and heating are normal. Its low temperature performance has been fully verified in more than 6000 hours of testing.

In addition to high and low temperatures, the Lookup test team has also developed a complete standard system for material, parts and vehicle odor tests to ensure that Lookup U8 does not produce interfering odors at room temperature and high temperature. At the same time, in order to ensure healthy air in the cockpit, Lookup U8 follows extremely stringent standards by standing the vehicle in a high temperature exposure environment for more than 4 hours, testing and verifying the VOC (volatile organic compounds) in the vehicle, and has passed more than 50 rounds of tests to ensure that users are not affected by VOC in the car and improve the air health standard.

In addition, Lookup has also carried out professional design and strict verification for vehicle EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) to ensure the EMC reliability of U8 in a variety of outdoor and urban travel scenarios. At the technical level, Lookup has carried out special tests on the electromagnetic radiation of Yi Sifang, the cloud cloud-P system, the ADAS intelligent driving auxiliary system and even the anti-electromagnetic interference of the whole vehicle.
