BYD rides off the dust, more than 50% of the car companies

The Federation released a ranking of wholesale sales of new energy manufacturers in November. According to its forecast, wholesale sales of new energy passenger cars in November were 940000, up 29 per cent year-on-year and 6 per cent month-on-month. A total of 7.74 million vehicles were wholesale from January to November this year, an increase of 35 per cent over the same period last year.

BYD takes the lead with a wholesale volume of 301000, far ahead of other manufacturers. According to the estimated 940000 vehicles, BYD accounts for 31.2%. On average, one out of every three new energy vehicles is branded by BYD, and this wholesale volume is really scary.

Recently, BYD has also launched a time-limited discount policy for its brands in order to boost its annual sales of 3 million, and sales in December are expected to reach a new high.

But there is a huge difference between BYD's sales and the wholesale volume of other manufacturers. In second place is Tesla, whose wholesale volume of 82000 is still as steady as an old dog, no matter how expensive the new Model 3 and Model Y are in price, or predict price increases in advance, in short, this is the first wholly owned car company to enter China's new energy industry, in terms of sales volume, has never lost.

Followed by Geely and Wuling, the wholesale volume reached 65000 and 59000 respectively, Geely is particularly eye-catching, after all, as a traditional manufacturer, it is not very early in the field of new energy, but with the Galaxy series of models and high performance-to-price ratio, Geely New Energy took the lead in breaking through barriers, and sales continued to rise.

Similar to Geely, there are Changan, where the wholesale volume of new energy exceeded 50, 000 in November, and the main models, the DEEPAL series, also take a cost-effective route and adopt extended-range mixing. Not only that, Changan also has Qiyuan series models, which mainly focus on the mixed market, and will bring new sales growth in the future.

Among the new power manufacturers, "Wei Xiaoli" has been very difficult to tie together. LEADING IDEA leads the other two companies with 41000 of wholesale, and LEADING IDEA MEGA's initial launch also received a large number of orders. While Xpeng P7i, the main model of Xpeng, has "compromised" to the ratio of performance to price, keeping the 20, 000 wholesale volume mark, while the NIO only has 16000 wholesale volume, in the final analysis, the overall price is too high.

Among the joint ventures, SAIC-Volkswagen was the winner, winning nearly 20, 000 wholesale sales with the reduced price promotion of the ID series, only a little less than Huawei's blessed Cyrus, which was quite successful.

However, Nissan, Toyota and Honda are having a hard time with only a few thousand units sold.
